"Save NASA Science" Petition Promo (MDRS)

The Mars Society needed a moving, short-form promotional video to drive signatures for their "Save NASA Science" petition. The objective was to connect the abstract concept of funding cuts to the tangible, inspiring reality of human space exploration research, using the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS) as the visual anchor.

Our Solution

The team crafted an emotional rally for space advocacy using ElevenLabs to generate a polished AI voiceover delivering the manifesto with gravitas matching the petition's stakes. They curated hours of B-roll footage, focusing on "analog astronauts" navigating red Utah terrain and the research hab's isolation to visually convey Mars exploration's dream. Clips were edited to dramatic, swelling music, building pacing from quiet scientific observation to an urgent, high-stakes call to action, emphasizing what could be lost without NASA science protection.

The Results

The final video was a compelling, emotionally charged asset that effectively used the imagery of future exploration to drive immediate political action.
